How to jailbreak your iPhone 3G 4.1, 3Gs 4.1, iPhone 4 4.1 and iPad 4.1 using Greenpois0n for Windows

Step One
Download Greenpois0n HERE




Step Two
When prompted save the download to your desktop




Step Three
Double click the downloaded gp_win_rc2.zip file then drag the greenpois0n.exe file to the desktop. Double greenpois0n.exe from the desktop to launch the application




Step Four
Power off your iPad then click the large Prepare to Jailbreak (DFU) button


Step Five
You will now be instructed on how to place your iPad into DFU mode.

You will be asked to press and hold the sleep button for 2 seconds.


Continue holding sleep; press and hold home for 10 seconds.


Release sleep button; continue holding home for 15 seconds.


Step Six
Once your iPad is successfully in DFU mode you may click the Jailbreak button.


Step Seven
Greenpois0n will now jailbreak your device.




Step Eight
Click the Quit button once the software application has completed.

 

• Now go back to your device, connect it to internet and press 'Loader"icon on the screen and install Cydia
• Done!

Downgrade Done 3GS 4.0.2 to 4.0.1

 I had a successful attempt to downgrade 3GS 4.0.2 to 4.0.1, here is how:

Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Open the host file with notepad

ADD THIS LINE AT THE END
74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com
after doing all these steps successfully
do these steps now carefully no need save shsh.
1-phone should be off now connect to itunes with usb it will turn on normal(phone should be activated).
2-now don't remove usb and turn off the phone normally.
3-now put the phone in dfu mode while connected.
4-now hold shift button and restore it with 4.0.1 it will be done successfully.
